A top range natural ink stone, carved in a special black stone found in the deep mountain close to the streams. Made from the finest, pink tinted slates. Used to grind a large amount of ink in these deep dish-like stones, which have easy to clean rounded edges.
Each stone has a highly polished wooden fitted lid.
